Cricklade Museum is planning to launch an exhibition in May 2014 to commemorate the start of World War I in August. We are looking for memories and artefacts of people local to Cricklade for the exhibition in the museum. We are appealing to residents of Cricklade and its environs for any items, photos or memories of Cricklade residents during World War I. These could be of military personnel or of people working in activities that supported the war or the community during the War years. If you have items you are prepared to loan to the Museum, we would look after them carefully and return them on request or when the exhibition ends in 1918. Should you wish to discuss this further please contact Paul Marley on 01793 752851 or call into the Museum on a Saturday and leave a message and he will get back to you as soon as possible.
